Weddings Onboard Ipipiri Overnight Cruise

The romantic and secluded backdrop of the Bay of Islands makes for an exceptional setting for your day of celebration. Whether you are dreaming of something small and intimate or a venue that can cater for a large gathering of family and friends, Ipipiri Overnight Cruises has the facilities and expertise to work with you to create a unique and unforgettable event.

Vessel Hire and Accommodation

Peak Season: 1 October 09 to 31 March 10.
$225 including GST per guest based on 60 guests for a maximum of 22 hours.

Off Season: 1 April 10 to 31 September 2010.
$165 including GST per guest based on 60 guests for a maximum of 22 hours.

The following outlines what is included in the per guest price based on 60 guests:

  • Hire of the Ipipiri Overnight Cruise vessel for 22 hours (1.00pm until 11.00am).
  • Access to all four levels of the vessel including sundeck, two accommodation levels and your main function area – bar, location for dance floor and open plan dining area.
  • Overnight accommodation for up to 60 guests (this is 30 deluxe cabins configured as either one king bed or two single beds).
  • Use of one tender (small run-about) to transfer wedding party and guests if required to nearby island for photos and / or ceremony (A group of 60 guests would require four trips from the vessel to the island).
  • The main function room dressed - glassware, cutlery, crockery, tables (solid tables with Kauri finish) and chairs (seats eight per guest table).
  • Skipper, Chef and Bar / wait staff for 60 people.
  • Cleaning of vessel and rooms.
  • Cake Knife and cake table.
  • Use of onboard kayaks and snorkeling gear if required.

Note - having your wedding onboard Ipipiri Overnight Cruises means your guests' accommodation is automatically included as part of the venue hire. Some groups opt to pass the accommodation component onto their guests and we are happy to setup individual accounts if required - these details will be required seven days prior to your wedding.

Food and Beverage

NB: This is separate cost from the vessel and accommodation component outlinned in part one.

Ipipiri offer three standard meal options for you to choose from, all utalising the freshest local produce and ingredients. If you are after a more personalised menu, our chef welcomes the opportunity to sit down with you to discuss your requirements in more detail.

Your food options are:

  • Three course buffet meal and fully cooked breakfast - $99.00 per person
  • A La Carte dinner and breakfast - $100.00pp ($65pp dinner and $35pp breakfast)
  • Continuous finger food throughout the evening - POA
  • Personalised menu - POA

We have a wide variety of beverages available for your guests to enjoy at your wedding. If you require a specific brand or type of beverage please just let us know and we will source this for you. Ipipiri operates on a Bar Tab system with beverages being served either per bottle or per glass. For your convenience Ipipiri offers an extended alcohol license.
